Yes, Mags, especially when the sun shines. The range of tones in fact is astonishing when looked at closely and as the light changes.
I love his instagrams too- such wavey contemplative gardens
Dijanne, I have not seen his instagrams as I do not follow that medium, but I have visited a couple of other Oudolf gardens and agree that they are delightfully contemplative at any time of year.

It's a wondrous winter garden, Marja-Leena, and reminded us once more that we want more grasses and flowers with seedheads in our own garden.
