Threading thoughts ... on figuring it all out ...
This brought an instant smile - crows are clever enough to win at spillikins, as long as they remember to keep their claws out of the way!
Glad you like it, Margaret.
Really like that background you're using.
Thanks, Sheila. It is thick khadi paper which I free machine stitched with white cotton thread, then rubbed with crumbled soft Unison pastels. I then soaked the whole thing. It is the result of various machine stitching experiments I was doing years ago. What I'm using in the doodles/designs in these posts are scans I made of it yesterday.
Goodness - I never would have guessed. I thought perhaps they were photos you'd taken of rock or pavement surfaces and brought into your software for minor manipulations. Now that I've looked at the larger version of the picture, I see that thread stitching. I like it even more now that I know more about it.
Olga, this is absolutely delightful!
Thank you, Eirene
Lovely, Olga... and especially enjoyed by my granddaughter who was watching over my shoulder as I looked.
Thank you Margaret, and your granddaughter.
