Changeable weather

It has been beautifully sunny for most of our two day journey up to Skye - until we arrived on the island itself, that is.  We stopped for lunch today at Fort William where the loch was bright blue.
Strong sunshine took us right up to the bridge over to Skye, and then ... atmospheric cloud.  It is still so beautiful, nonetheless.  We will see what the rest of the week brings.

  1. Olga, I'd like to send your reflection photo to a friend but don't want to assume/presume anything.

    1. Thanks Eirene. Skye is certainly a special place: all those peninsulas and inlets of water make the weather unpredictable from moment to moment, bend in the road to bend in the road. All that water also makes the light something magical. The north of Scotland is largely like this, but Skye even more so.

  3. Stunning colors in the opening pic, made even more so by contrast of the greys of the rest.
